Today at 10 a.m. in city council chambers, Fire Chief Luis Santiago promoted two members of our department. While promotional ceremonies are not uncommon, the unique angle today is that both members have fathers that currently serve on our department, with one being the Chief of Toledo Fire & Rescue.
Private Anthony Santiago, son of Chief Santiago was promoted along with Private Adam Klugh, son of 30-plus year veteran Lt. Harvey Klugh.
Lieutenant Adam Klugh was appointed on January 8, 2010 and served at station 17 and Life Squad 4, station 16.
Lieutenant Anthony Santiago was appointed on January 8, 2014 and served at station 17 and Life Squad 4, station 16.
Congratulations to both newly promoted Lieutenants.
