Three members of the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department were promoted during a ceremony this morning in city council chambers.
Promoted to Deputy Chief was Battalion Chief John Kaminski. Deputy Chief Kaminski was appointed to the department on July 11, 1997. He will oversee the Field Operations Bureau.
Promoted to Captain was Lieutenant Sheryl Close. Capt. Close was appointed to the department on September 11, 1992. She will be assigned to “B” platoon as a relief officer.
Promoted to Lieutenant was Private Aaron Frisch. Lt. Frisch was appointed to the department on July 30, 2001. He will be assigned as a relief officer on “A” platoon.
