The University of Toledo Medical Center held their Fourth Annual Induction Ceremony today honoring Battalion Chief Peter Jaegly, along with Virginia Reidy, R.N. and Joseph Stevens, M.D.
A plaque for Pete and the other honorees will be displayed in the Emergency Department of the U.T. Medical Center, near the ambulance entrance. The Emergency Medicine Wall of Honor was established in 2011 to recognize individual achievement and self-sacrifice in the emergency medical services and emergency medicine community.
Battalion Chief Jaegly service 20 years with the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department. He lost his battle with cancer on October 6, 2013.
This past April, Private Stephen Machcinski and Private James Dickman were also honored with plaques on the Emergency Medicine Wall of Honor for their work as firefighter/E.M.T.’s with the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department.
