Six members of the Toledo Fire & Rescue Department were promoted today in a ceremony held in Toledo City Council Chambers at One Government Center.
Promoted to Captain during this 9 a.m. ceremony was Lieutenant Thomas J. Kalucki. He was appointed to the department on September 22, 1989.
Promotions to Lieutenant included: Private Brandon Walton, appointed July 20, 2001; Private Robert M. Shiffler, appointed September 11, 1992; Private John J. Rodriguez, appointed October 3, 1997; Private Zakariya Reed, appointed March 25, 1996; Private James G. White, appointed July 21, 1997.
