In a special recognition ceremony today at the Radisson, on the University of Toledo Health Science campus, Privates Stephen Machcinski and James Dickman were honored with their placement on the Emergency Medicine Wall of Honor.
While Steve and Jamie have been recognized and memorialized for their service as firefighters since their tragic deaths, during their careers they have also been involved in countless scenes where their skills as E.M.T.’s have made a difference in many lives.
The Emergency Medicine Wall of Honor, which is located in the Emergency Department at U.T.M.C., was established in 2011 to recognize the self-sacrifice and individual achievement of those individuals involved in the emergency medicine community.
